Mrs. Christine, a French lawyer, said,
"I have spent seven weeks in a visit to Beirut, Damascus, Amman and Baghdad. Here I am back in Paris. What did I find there? I found a man who goes to work in the morning and struggles the whole day to come back home in the evening with bread along with love and compassion for his wife and children." "A woman in those countries has no duty other than bringing up the generation and taking care of the man she loves or at least the man who has been her destiny. "In the east the woman sleeps, dreams and makes her dreams a reality. The man has provided her with bread, comfort and luxury. In our countries, women have struggled for equality, so what have they achieved?
"The woman in Western Europe is a commodity. The man would tell her, 'get up and earn your living for you are the one who asked for equality.' Amidst her struggle to earn her living, the woman forgets about the feminine side in her, the man forgets about his partner and life becomes meaningless."
تقول المحامية الفرنسية كريستين:
بعد أن زارت بعض بلاد الشرق المسلم :( سبعة أسابيع قضيتها في زيارة كل من بيروت ودمشق وعمان وبغداد وها أنا ذا أعود إلى باريس،فماذا وجدت؟ وجدت رجلا يذهب إلى عمله في الصباح يتعب يشقى، يعمل حتى إذا كان المساء عاد إلى زوجته ومعه خبز، ومع الخبز حُبٌّ وعطف ورعاية لها ولصغارها. والأنثى في تلك البلاد لا عمل لها إلا تربية جيل، والعناية بالرجل الذي تحب، أو على الأقل بالرجل الذي كان قدرها. في الشرق تنام المرأة وتحلم، وتحقق ما تريد ؛ فالرجل قد وفر لها خبزا، وحُبّا وراحة ورفاهية.وفي بلادنا حيث ناضلت المرأة من أجل المساواة، فماذا حققت؟ انظر إلى المرأة في غرب أوربا، فلا ترى أمامك إلا سلعة ؛ فالرجل يقول لها: انهضي لكسب خبزك ؛ فأنتِ قد طلبت المساواة، وطالما أنا أعمل فلابد أن تشاركيني في العمل ؛ لنكسب خبزنا معاً. ومع الكد والعمل ؛ لكسب الخبز تنسى المرأة أنوثتها، وينسى الرجل شريكته في الحياة، وتبقى الحياة بلا معنى ولا هدف ). انتهى
